The Primary hall at St. Dominic is vibrant, friendly, and welcoming. Each classroom is designed to help tap into children’s natural curiosity and work with each student’s unique background and learning style. Class lessons and activities are hands-on and dynamic, and each day brings a variety of ‘specials’ in addition to the core curriculum.
The Kindergarten class has a full-time teacher and classroom assistant. Grades 1-2 each have a full-time teacher and a part-time assistant. In the primary years, the students have the opportunity to learn not only from their classroom teachers, but from the specialized instructors who teach Technology, Spanish, Art, Music, Library, and P.E.
